Back in the day I would drive 40 minutes and go to Disneyland. I always loved Pirates of the Caribbean.
When the movie came out I had this incredible memory of so many good times going on the ride I had to create a guitar.
I waited for the DVD to come out so I could study every scene and began to create images and ideas for what the guitar would contain.
My son Matt was in a band with Jerry Bruckheimer’s son who went to Jerry himself who would then purchase the guitar for Johnny Depp
This was a really long process because I wanted to ensure it was perfect. It featured 22K gold and hang engraved coins. Every element of this guitar was inspired by the movie and became a major career highlight.
